Dumaguete
Dumaguete it is the capital, principal seaport, and most populous city of the province of Negros Oriental. Dumaguete is referred to as a university city because of the presence of four universities and a number of other colleges where students of the province converge to enroll for tertiary education.
St. Catherine of Alexandria Cathedral
The Saint Catherine of Alexandria Cathedral, also known as the Dumaguete Cathedral, is one of the most historic landmark of the city as it boasts itself as the oldest stone church in Negros built in the 17th century. It is located right across Quezon Park along Gov. Perdices street.
Silliman University
Silliman University is the dominant institution of higher learning in Dumaguete, providing the city with a distinct university town atmosphere.
Provincial Capitol
The Provincial Capitol in Dumaguete City was built in 1924 during the American colonization of the Philippines. The Provincial Capitol houses the Governor's Office and other provincial government offices.
Dumaguete Belfry
The Bell Tower was then built to forewarn the locals of any incoming danger. It remains to be the oldest bell tower in the Visayas and is a very famous architectural landmark in the city.

PANLIGAWAN CAVE

Mabinay Caving Panligawan Cave 143 meters long, a dome shaped cave with fossilized formations. It has a wide and flat ground ideal for in cave camping. The ceiling of the cave has a wide opening where daylight illuminates the entire cave. Pandanihan Cave 282 meters long, located about 100 meters from Panligawan cave.
